Because of its authenticity, it requires proper care and maintenance, especially for curlier or coarser textures. We encourage you to have realistic expectations when purchasing raw hair— if you don’t take care of it, it won’t perform at its best. Raw hair isn’t for everyone, but with the right care, it can give you a flawless, long-lasting look.
Recommended Hair Care Tips:
Pre-Installation Care:
We highly recommend washing and conditioning your extensions before installation. This will bring out their natural pattern and smooth any tangling or flattening that may have happened during packaging. You will get the best results by letting the hair air dry prior to install, especially curly hair.
Weekly/Biweekly Maintenance:
Depending on how much product you use, wash and condition your extensions every 1-2 weeks. This prevents product buildup, which can cause tangling and shedding. Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to keep the hair hydrated and soft.
Nighttime Routine:
Before bed, make sure to twist or wrap your extensions in a silk or satin scarf or bonnet to prevent tangling and shedding. Detangle your hair by combing from the ends to the roots before wrapping it up for the night.
Additional Tips:
Our raw hair will react and look like natural hair, so regular washing and conditioning are key. Feel free to use a light oil or mousse to control frizz. When you first receive your bundle, don’t be surprised if it appears untamed—this is normal! A wash and condition will bring out its true beauty.

If you’re considering any chemical treatments like coloring or bleaching, we recommend having a licensed stylist perform these services. Please be aware that any chemical processes may alter the integrity of your hair extensions, possibly leading to dryness, breakage, or shedding.
